What are the ways Hopewiser can help with Data Enrichment?
Hopewiser hold a variety of datasets that can be used at the point of contact, so as an address is verified, then further information can be captured immediately, such as standard reference numbers, grid references, SIC codes, building type, allowing for business decisions and internal checks to find duplicates/link data together.
For example geographic data enrichment can involve adding postal data or latitude and longitude to an existing dataset that includes customer addresses, thereby enabling location analytics and intelligence. Case Study
Data cleansing and enrichment for a major Insurance firm
In December 2020, address information from the Client’s 3 million plus insurance policies was run through Hopewiser’s automated bulk data cleansing service.
The bulk data cleansing process reads a database of existing addresses and cross-matches them against the Royal Mail’s Postcode Address File (PAF) ensuring optimum accuracy. Using Ordnance Survey data in addition to PAF, enabled Hopewiser to append UPRN.
Where incorrect or missing postcodes were discovered, Hopewiser corrected and appended these to ensure premium data quality.
